QPR for Faculty and Staff


Just like CPR is taught to save lives, QPR provides training to help individuals intervene if they are worried about someone’s mental health and potential for suicide or self-harm. This training will provide attendees with the skills to question, persuade and refer individuals to campus and community resources.

As ECU begins the process of being designated as a “Health Promoting University,” there is an opportunity to incorporate strategies that highlight trauma informed environments and positive connection to students.
